Doug Stowe


Doug (Eureka Springs, AR) is the author of 14 books and over 90 articles in woodworking publications, including Fine Woodworking, Woodwork, and American Woodworker. Doug has spent 45 years as a professional woodworker and is one of the founders of Eureka Springs School of the Arts. In 2009, Doug was named an Arkansas Living Treasure by the Arkansas Department of Heritage.

Ed (Melbourne, AR) has been exploring the wilds of Arkansas most of his life, and almost always with a camera in hand. After 34 years as a music educator, he retired to the Ozark hills with more time to concentrate on his photography. Ed is currently President of the Arkansas Craft Guild, Instructor for the Arkansas Craft School, and has been an artist on the Off The Beaten Path Studio Tour for 15 years.

Elby (Eureka Springs, AR) started making wheel-thrown pottery over 40 years ago. His abstract and figurative sculpture has evolved to include a wide variety of hand-building techniques, as well as electronic lights and sound. Elby has extensive experience teaching scientific and technical subjects in public schools and colleges.

Eleanor (Eureka Springs, Arkansas) is a studio artist using primarily weaving and beading techniques to create her sculptures and wall pieces. Her work is in the Arkansas Arts Center. She has taught in the United States, Mexico, and West Africa. You may see her work in 500 Beaded Objects and Masters of Bead Weaving.

Eli (Eureka Springs, AR) is a self-taught, award-winning, and highly published photographer with over 25 years of experience. He is a regular presenter and judge for camera clubs and art groups and offers workshops at Rocky Mountain National Park, Garden of The Gods, and the Ozarks Natural Science Center. He is a certified workshop facilitator and makes his workshops engaging, interactive, and fun.

Farley Lewis


Farley (Springfield, MO) has won awards in thirteen of the fourteen Plein Air events he has entered, including four Best of Shows. He earned a BFA in Painting and Graphic Design and has done fine art professionally for over 40 years.

Fran Carlin

Fran (Eureka Springs, AR) began practicing mosaics in 1990 under the guidance of James Hubbell. She has furthered her studies in Italy and workshops in the U.S. She is inspired by the reflective qualities and design of Byzantine mosaics, translating them into modern materials.

Gary Chapman


Gary Chapman (Birmingham, AL) is a Professor of Painting and Drawing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art; BA and BS at Berea College). He has taught workshops at institutions all over the country, and Gary has exhibited in numerous exhibitions worldwide. Chapman currently has 13 paintings in the collections of ten museums and many corporate and private collections.
