Fran (Eureka Springs, AR) earned her BSE in Art Education at the University of Arkansas. It wasn’t until years later that her passion for mosaics emerged while working under noted artist James Hubbell in San Diego. Since then she has continued her mosaic studies in Ravenna and Venice, Italy.
James (Eureka Springs, AR) has taught painting and drawing workshops to neighborhood groups and at ESSA, and has years of experience in providing training and instruction in business, science and computer software programs.
Jason (Van Buren, AR) is a self-taught artist who has worked in clay, woodcarving and stonecarving for over 30 years. Jason’s passion is in stone, and putting warmth and movement into something that is otherwise cold and hard.
Joe (Strafford, MO) started welding and working with metal at age 13, and found a way to turn his industrial experience into an art form. He has been represented by art galleries throughout Missouri and has sculptures in municipal shows in Missouri, Illinois and Iowa.
John Engler (Battlefield MO) has been a professional woodcarver and watercolorist for over thirty years. He operates the John Engler and Associates Design Studio.
Julie Hop (Rogers, AR) earned her BFA in Painting and Drawing from Columbia College, Chicago. She has been a muralist and has participated in exhibits in Chicago, New Orleans and Eureka Springs. Julie has designed and implemented art classes for children, teens and adults and has experience as a public school teacher. She is currently Program Coordinator at ESSA.
Kate Koprowski (Lexington KY) is a self-taught fiber artist with a background in education. She has taught felting workshops locally in Kentucky and is a member in good standing of the Berea Arts Guild of KY. Her work has been featured many times on-line by sites like Bored Panda, ThinkGeek, Geekology, Fashionably Geek and others.
Kathyrn (Wanchese, NC) is an enamellist, metalsmith and Associate Professor at the College of the Albemarie. She received an MFA in metal design/jewelry from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC. Her work is featured in publications including Art of Enamel and Metalsmith magazine.
