Welcoming Our Talented Volunteers
This past week, ESSA had the pleasure of welcoming three dedicated volunteers—Steve Walter, Blake Werner, and Bob Farris—who generously donated their time and skills in our Windgate Wood Studio from September 16th to 20th. Over the course of 4.5 days, these talented craftsmen worked on a variety of projects that are already making a difference in our studios.
Hand-Crafted Gifts for Donors
Steve, Blake, and Bob built beautifully crafted wooden boxes that will be given as gifts for some very special donors who generously support ESSA’s programs and events. These hand-made boxes will add a personal, creative touch to the event, and we know our sponsors will appreciate these one-of-a-kind gifts.
Enhancing Our Studio Spaces and Building Community
In addition to these special pieces, our volunteers constructed a new bench table for the grinding station in our Small Metals Studio, and designed handy holders for pliers and tools to help keep the space organized. These thoughtful improvements are already making the studios more functional for our students and instructors.
Their hard work and craftsmanship have truly enhanced our facilities, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Volunteers like Steve, Blake, and Bob make ESSA a better place for everyone, and their contributions reflect the heart and spirit of our creative community. A huge thank you to Steve, Blake, and Bob for their time, effort, and expertise! Your work is already making a lasting impact, and we’re so fortunate to have you as part of the ESSA family.
