Hands On ESSA is Eureka Spring’s premiere Spring Art event and fundraiser for the Eureka Springs School of the Arts!
Every year some of the finest makers and artists in this region will lead attendees in trying their hand at various types of hands-on activities. This interactive event also features a silent auction of small works of art and some tasty refreshments.

Explore a vibrant collection of more than 80 items generously donated by artists, makers, and local businesses who believe in the power of creativity to bring people together.
From original artwork and handcrafted jewelry to unique experiences and gift certificates, each item reflects the spirit of our creative community. Take a look, choose your favorites, and get ready to bid when the auction opens on Thursday, April 2 at 12 PM.
Every bid directly supports ESSA’s mission to expand access to hands-on art experiences and keep our community creating.
The Hands On ESSA 2026 Activities Are:
BLACKSMITHING – Shape your own keychain or hook and leave with a little iron magic.
WELDING – Suit up, spark up. Try welding and feel the thrill of metal coming together
CERAMICS – Get your hands muddy and try throwing on the wheel!
WOODTURNING – Take a turn at the lathe and watch wood transform in motion.
STAINED GLASS – Solder your own colorful glass piece to catch the light just right.
PLASMA CUTTING – Slice through metal like lightning. Try the plasma torch and make sparks fly.
COIL CLAY BUILDING – Build a sky-high sculpture using coils. Who’s the first to make it drop?
MINI PAINTING – Paint and draw your own pocket-sized masterpiece.
NEEDLE FELTING – Craft your own felted beads one poke at a time.
PRINTMAKING – Carve it, ink it, press it. Pull your own prints and watch your design come to life.
SPINNING WHEEL SPIROGRAPH – Let it spin, let it swirl. Create a vibrant masterpiece powered by motion.
BUTTON MAKING – Design it, press it, wear it. Make your very own ESSA button and show it off with pride.
