Hands On ESSA is Eureka Spring’s premiere Spring Art event and fundraiser for the Eureka Springs School of the Arts!
Every year some of the finest makers and artists in this region will lead attendees in trying their hand at various types of hands-on activities. This interactive event also features a silent auction of small works of art and some tasty refreshments.
The Activities for Hands On ESSA 2025 Are:
Blacksmithing – Forge your own keychain with Shane Capps
Welding – Try your hand at welding with Preston Carson
Ceramics – Throw pottery on the wheel with Jessica Ames-Russell
Woodturning – Experience woodturning on a lathe with the Stateline Woodturners
Hand Build with Clay – Get your hands dirty with stoneware clay alongside Todd Paden
Paper Keepsake Boxes – Immerse yourself in paper craft and construct a small paper keepsake box with James White
Watercolor Painting – Learn about hand-ground watercolor pigments and try watercolor painting with Amber Leibee
Mini Painting – Try painting and drawing small masterpieces on mini canvases with Cat Luna
Needle Felting – Try your hand at needle felting with Vicki Hardcastle by making felted beads
Stained Glass – Test your soldering skills with a small Stained Glass take-away project with Amber Capps
Printmaking – Try your hand at carving a block and pulling prints with Dawn Ward
