Doug (Eureka Springs, AR) has been a professional woodworker since 1976 and is the author of 15 books and over 100 articles. In 2001 he launched the Wisdom of the Hands woodworking program at the Clear Spring School. In 2009 he was named an “Arkansas Living Treasure” by the Arkansas Department of Heritage for his contributions to traditional craft and craft education. Doug is one of the founders of ESSA.
