All baskets are made from white oak trees that the instructor selects, harvest and prepares by hand using homemade tools made and used by his father in the Ozark tradition. All aspects of how a tree is turned into a pliable, flexible wood for weaving will be discussed. Leave each class with a finished, traditional Ozark style handmade basket that should last a lifetime.
This basket has a 9” x 15” woven oak “herringbone” bottom and is approximately 8.5” deep excluding the oak handle.
All materials included.
