Portrait Sculpture

This workshop is for experienced artists of all mediums and can benefit 2 – dimensional artists. You will work with Super Sculpey clay using life-mask casts and photos of your choice. You will learn to look at the head’s shadows, planes, and circles while accessing multiple tools to complete up to three sculptures.
All materials included.
Students must be 18 or older to participate.

Lew (Aurora, MO) has been a professional sculptor since 2008; his work includes private commissions, museum exhibits, college instruction, and workshops. His style is representational, and his materials include polymer clay, cold cast bronze, and foundry bronze. His typical subjects are figures from history.
