The basis of your unique wall hanging will begin with designing and altering polymer clay into individual tesserae. To inspire your design, you will use various materials and techniques such as color, texture, and embellishments. You will then arrange them into your mosaic design.

Fran Carlin
Fran (Eureka Springs, AR) began practicing mosaics in 1990 under the guidance of James Hubbell. She has furthered her studies in Italy and workshops in the U.S. She is inspired by the reflective qualities and design of Byzantine mosaics, translating them into modern materials.
