Pendant with Sculpted Silver Chain

Explore silversmithing to create wearable art. In this class you will design and create a pendant with a gemstone cabochon and sculpt silver wire to create an artful chain. While fabricating your projects, you will become familiar with various equipment in the small metals studio and learn design, bezel formation, soldering, how to sculpt silver, sawing, use of patina, and stone setting. Some silversmithing experience is required.
