Found Object: New Context
Why do we keep old ticket stubs, a lock of someone’s hair, an earring with no mate, a used book of matches? Why? Because these are not just objects, these are the reservoirs of memories – they are amulets and talismans. In this workshop, you will fashion objects of personal importance, expression, and adornment. Many techniques and materials will be covered, including concrete, polymer clay, Faux Bone, cold connections, epoxies, found objects, and many more.

Robert (Seymour, CT) is an artist/educator/author and developer of materials for artists. His work can be seen in numerous books, publications, museum and private collections around the world. Robert has taught for over 30 years working with students from kindergarten to graduate school as well as teaching workshops across the US and abroad.
