Explore silversmithing to create wearable art. You will learn design, sawing, soldering, hammer texturing, stamping and forming, application of patina, and two stone setting techniques: tube setting, and prong setting while creating a sterling silver pendant adorned with a faceted gemstone and semi-precious cabochon.

All materials included.

This workshop is for all levels but prior experience will be helpful.

Students must be 18 or older to participate.

About Instructor

Mary Lou Christie
Mary Lou (Tahlequah, OK) is a retired elementary teacher who now spends her time honing her sills and teaching jewelry making classes in her Tahlequah, OK studio.Her creations have been featured in several galleries and are shown at Fine Art Festivals in Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas. Her creations have won numerous fine art awards.
