In this workshop, you will learn to work with vitreous enamel in granular and liquid forms. We will explore many applications and surface decoration techniques (i.e., screen printing, underfiring, gold leaf, overglaze, and cloisonné). Students will also learn to fire enamels in a kiln and with a torch. There will be basic metalsmithing demonstrations for those who need it, making this class suitable for any level.
All materials included.
Students must be 18 or older and show proof of vaccination to participate.
About Instructor

Lillian Fitzpatrick
Lillian (Highlandville, MO) holds a BFA in Metals/jewelry from Missouri State University and is an art instructor for Springfield Art Museum, Springfield Regional Arts Council, and Placeworks. She teaches jewelry/metalsmithing classes through the museum and her work has been exhibited across America and in Japan.
