Learn to construct a small copper container and create embellished lids using vitreous enamel and tab settings. Those interested may also create a piece of memorial jewelry to contain cremated remains or other small item.
All materials included. Prior experience is not necessary, but those with prior jewelry making experience will be able to create more complex pieces during our time.
Students must be 18 or older to participate.
About Instructors
Lillian Fitzpatrick
Lillian (Highlandville, MO) holds a BFA in Metals/jewelry from Missouri State University and is an art instructor for Springfield Art Museum, Springfield Regional Arts Council, and Placeworks. She teaches jewelry/metalsmithing classes through the museum and her work has been exhibited across America and in Japan.
