Lighten Up, Loosen Up
This workshop will focus on three main features of every workshop with Richard: informative technical information sprinkled with anecdotes, educational demonstrations, and one-on-one guidance. You will learn creative use of the “tools” of watercolor, such as brush manipulation, color mixing, and water/pigment relationship.
All materials included.
Students must be 18 or older to participate.
About Instructors
Richard Stephens
Richard (Hot Springs, AR) graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 1969 with a degree in art. Richard enjoyed a 45 year career as a freelance Commercial Artist/Graphic Designer/Illustrator. He has been conducting workshops nationwide for over 20 years. During the past few years, Stephens has won awards in numerous watercolor shows and competitions around the country, and in 2018 was awarded the Arkansas Governor's Arts Award for an Individual Artist.
