Beginning Oil Painting

Have you always wanted to try oil painting? This class is an excellent opportunity, and you don’t even have to buy supplies. You will be introduced to color, value, composition, and design in this workshop. You will discover how to use different brushstrokes to create desired effects in your paintings. There will be fun exercises as we go along to help reinforce the elements of art. You will complete at least three paintings. We will be using Water Mixable Oil Paints.

About Instructors
Vic Mastis
Vic (Branson, MO) is a professional artist for over 35 years; she founded Gateway Pastel Artists in MO., is a signature member of AR Pastel Society, a juried member of PSA, and Best of Missouri Hands. Her work receives awards and has been in magazines, museums, and galleries. She attends the International Association of Pastel Artists conventions and will bring that info to you.
