In this interactive workshop, you will learn to paint subjects commonly found in the rural landscape. Your instructor will demonstrate barns, chickens, goats, sheep, cows, tractors, hay bales, and more, with plenty of tips and tricks that will enable you to enhance your own paintings. Some painting experience will be helpful. You will need a steady internet connection and, a free Zoom account, and a computer with an enabled camera and microphone
- *Sketching materials as desired by the student
- *Easel if you have one
- *palette, can be wood, plexiglass, glass, or disposable paper palette
- *8×10, 11×14, or 12×16 canvas recommended (6-8 will be needed)
- *Brushes-a variety of sizes of flat, round, and filbert style (bring what you have)
- *Palette knife
- *Minimum color palette:
- Cadmium Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red Light,Alizarin Crimson,
- Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Blue, Titanium White, Ivory Black. (other colors are optional)
- *Paper towels or rags and a container to throw them into.
- *odorless mineral spirits and a small container for cleaning brushes
- *Other optional useful supplies:
- oil painting medium (liquin)
- lotion/wet wipes for clean up
