Abstract Florals (Online Workshop)

In this interactive online class, we will discuss how to take an abstract approach to paint florals and more. By taking a purely experimental attitude and giving ourselves permission, we will explore intuitive, spontaneous methods for letting go and seeing what the combination of pigment and water on paper can do!
This class is specially created for students who have already taken my beginning watercolor class, already have their materials, and want to go further.
You will need a steady internet connection, a free Zoom account, and a computer or an iPad/tablet with an enabled camera and microphone.
*Students must be 18 years of age or older
About Instructor
Julie Hop
Julie Hop (Rogers, AR) earned her BFA in Painting and Drawing from Columbia College, Chicago. She has been a muralist and has participated in exhibits in Chicago, New Orleans and Eureka Springs. Julie has designed and implemented art classes for children, teens and adults and has experience as a public school teacher. She is currently Program Coordinator at ESSA.
