Learn the basic techniques of constructing small jewelry pieces in copper including die cutting, annealing, sawing, fold-forming, and soldering. Come away from this workshop with new knowledge of small metalsmithing as well as wonderful handmade pieces including earrings, pendants and bracelets. Instruction will include hands on studio demonstrations, individual attention, and group discussions.

Dana (Senatobia, MS) holds a BFA in painting and an MFA in studio art from Memphis College of Art. She spent her early years roaming the creek banks and meadows of north central Arkansas’ Ozark Mountains finding clarity of spirit outdoors. Her work is a visual response to her time spent outdoors.
