Based on a semester long class taught at Memphis College of Art, Utilitarian Blacksmithing touches on various functional forged objects from field and farm, kitchen and factory. You will observe a demonstration of a new form and process each day, and then spend the remainder of the class designing and making your own unique version of the days chosen object. By the end of the week, you will have several completed items.

Bill Price
Bill (Memphis, TN) is a working artist/blacksmith, and professor of Metal Arts and Sculpture at Memphis College of Art. He earned a MA in Blacksmithing from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and has a BFA from Memphis College of Art.
