Abraham (Sparta, TN) has been forging functional and art objects since 2006. He holds a BFA in Metals from the Appalachian Center for Craft where he has taught various workshops. He has exhibited his work throughout the country and has been running Pardee Metal LLC, full-time since 2016.
Alicia (Springfield, MO) has been included and recognized in numerous national and international exhibits. She recently received signature status in the prestigious National Watercolor Society, based in Los Angeles, CA. She was commissioned to create nine large acrylic paintings for the new Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C.
Allen (Lowell, AR) is a Journeyman Smith with the American Bladesmith Society and Arkansas’s first Forged in Fire Champion. He enjoys working with steel to create pieces that are aesthetically pleasing yet are quite functional.
Amanda (Canterbury, NH) is an award-winning sculptor based in New England and currently completing commissions and residencies throughout the United States. She is a recipient of the National Sculpture Society’s Dexter Jones Award for best bas-relief sculpture.
Amy (Fayetteville, AR) has a studio located at Art Ventures in downtown Fayetteville and is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a BA in Computer Science and Art with an emphasis in oil painting and drawing.
Anne (Pawlet, VT ) has been an independent studio artist for 15 years and has work included in numerous exhibitions, collections and publications. Most recent: Art Jewelry Today 4, Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist’s “How to Enamel Jewelry”, and acquisitions by the Enamel Arts Foundation. Anne is the current treasurer of the Society of North American Goldsmiths and The Enamelist Society.
Barbara Kennedy (Eureka Springs, AR) began her journey as an artist at an early age when it was quickly noted by an elementary school teacher that she had an unusual sense of color. Vibrant color is still the focus in her detailed paintings and drawings of people and nature. Her primary mediums are oil and acrylic paints but she also uses graphite and colored pencil in her work. Kennedy is included in The Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts 2017-2018 Artist Registry and recently received Best of Show in the 2nd Annual Arkansas Art Teacher Exhibition in Little Rock, AR.
Bert (Bentonville, AR) started his interest in blacksmithing while attending the grand opening of ESSA’s blacksmithing studio in 2014. He now has his own forging shop, The Smithin’ Jones Backyard Blacksmith Company, and is an active member of The Blacksmithing Organization of Arkansas. Bert joined ESSA’s Board of Directors in 2016. He also owns Gaskin’s Cabin Steakhouse in the Eureka Springs area.
